About Me
When I started out in radio at age 19, I clearly remember account executives and production directors complaining about unprofessional, inefficient and late voice talent. Sometimes the talent was supposed to show up at the studio for a session, and sometimes they were supposed to email recorded copy, but invariably there was almost always some kind of complaint. So as I started branching off on my own in the broadcast and voice-over industry, I vowed to be professional, efficient and above all, on time.
I honed my craft while working as a radio jock in various markets throughout California, and I tuned my character voices working on Japanese anime video games at Working Designs and Gaijinworks. I even lived abroad in Tokyo, Japan to refine my skills as an anime character actor.
As a professional voice talent, I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my ability to interpret script and think on my feet. I've performed stand-up comedy at The Comedy Store on Hollywood's famous Sunset Strip for the sole purpose of sharpening my ability to improvise and speak off the cuff.
I use many industry standard software applications and hardware, such as an M-Audio High Definition soundcard and recording interface, a Behringer Eurorack Mixer, an AKG Perception 220, a Shure SM58, and Pro Tools 8, SoundForge 10 and Audition 3.0, along with several plugins, including AutoTune 4 (for the "T-Pain" effect).
